A São Paulo-based samba school took the top prize with 269.9 points, narrowly beating out the second-place contender with 269.4 points. Schools were judged across nine categories in the competition.
Unfortunately, Nenê de Vila Matilde and Camisa12 finished at the bottom of the rankings and will be relegated to the Grupo de Acesso 2 division. The results mark a shift in the competitive landscape of São Paulo’s vibrant samba school scene.
