Así será el estadio Shakira ubicado en el Iberdrola Music

The Estadio Shakira, located inside the Iberdrola Music complex, is conceived as a temporary large-format venue that redefines the live demonstrate experience in Spain. With a capacity of over 50,000 spectators per night, this space stands as one of the largest and most innovative temporary stages in Europe, designed to host the Colombian singer’s artistic residency in Madrid.

The structure was created by the prestigious architecture studio Bjarke Ingels Group (BIG), recognized for its futuristic approach and integration of technology, sustainability, and immersive design. It’s the same spatial concept used for Adele’s residency in Germany, a format that guarantees total visibility from any point, state-of-the-art acoustics, and an environment designed to maximize the emotional connection between the artist and the audience.

The stadium isn’t just a stage; it functions as a cultural hub in itself. Shakira’s residency will transform the venue into a parallel city within Madrid, an immersive environment where music coexists with art, gastronomy, cinema, literature, workshops, and shared community experiences. Everything will be curated under the concept Es Latina, a vision that celebrates the identity shared by the Latin diaspora: a transnational space characterized by language, creativity, rhythm, resilience, and collective joy.

Una loba con ganas de llegar a España con su gira mundial Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour

The Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour, which marked Shakira’s definitive return to the stage after six years without touring, has become an unprecedented global phenomenon and the most successful Latin tour in history. With record attendance, million-dollar figures, and a stage production that has evolved over 14 months, the Colombian artist is preparing her grand finale: Spain will be the setting for the tour’s closure next September, in a production unprecedented in the country.

One of the most talked-about moments occurred on March 1, 2026, when Shakira gathered approximately 400,000 people in the Zócalo of Mexico City during a free concert that broke all attendance records for the historic venue. It was a demonstration of the emotional power the tour has generated among the Latin American public.

After months of speculation, Shakira confirmed in an advance of an interview with RTVE that Spain will be the final stop on her tour, where she will offer a series of concerts in September with unprecedented production. The artist revealed that her team and Live Nation are building a temporary stadium, called Estadio Shakira, specifically designed to host these closing shows: a concert residency in Madrid, similar to the format Adele debuted in Munich in 2024, with a temporary stadium designed for several consecutive nights of spectacle. Now, yes, the she-wolf is coming to Spain!
