Dramatic Events Unfold for Cher’s Family as Son Arrested Twice in 72 Hours
Cher’s youngest son, Elijah Blue Allman, has been arrested twice in a 72-hour period, according to reports. The incidents have brought increased attention to the family’s personal life as Cher continues to navigate a prominent career and public image.
Elijah Blue Allman is the son of the 79-year-vintage American pop star and actress Cher and her second husband, the late Gregg Allman.
On Sunday, March 1, Allman was allegedly involved in a break-in at a home in Windham, New Hampshire. The Windham Police Department confirmed to Us Weekly that the 49-year-old Allman has been charged with burglary, two counts of property damage, and violation of bail conditions.
The following day, he appeared in Salem District Court, where a judge ordered him to be held on preventative detention.
Police responded to a 911 call reporting a burglary at a residence. A woman inside the home told dispatch she was hiding in a closet since someone had illegally entered the property. When officers arrived, they found Allman sitting on a couch in the living room smoking a cigarette. He claimed he had permission to be on the property, but the homeowner and her husband denied giving him permission.
This arrest occurred just two days after Allman was taken into custody on February 27 in Concord, New Hampshire. Police told Us Weekly he was arrested at St. Paul’s School after allegedly causing a disturbance in the school’s cafeteria.
