Carrie Elizabeth Romney, the sister-in-law of former U.S. Senator and presidential candidate Mitt Romney, was found dead Friday night in Valencia, California.
Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department deputies responded to reports of a deceased individual inside a parking garage in the 24500 block of Town Center Drive at approximately 8:30 p.m. on Friday. Law enforcement sources confirmed that Romney, 64, either jumped or fell from a five-story parking structure near the Hyatt Regency hotel and died at the scene.
The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s Office has identified the deceased as Carrie Elizabeth Romney. As of today, a cause of death has not been released.
