Sophie Elise Isachsen:
Influencer Denies Claims Witnesses Sought Cameras During Marius Borg Høiby Trial
Sebastian Brevik, known as Barisbrevik on social media, posted a video on TikTok and Instagram this weekend criticizing influencers Sophie Elise Isachsen, Anniken Jørgensen, and Nora Haukland.
The trial centered on allegations of domestic abuse against former partner Nora Haukland. Høiby has pleaded not guilty.
Brevik’s criticism focused on the route the three influencers took leaving the Oslo District Court after testifying in the case against Marius Borg Høiby.
– Sorry, but Here’s the lamest thing I’ve ever seen, Brevik said at the beginning of the video.
– They were in a hurry to obtain away from the cameras and thought it was uncomfortable to be photographed, but the only reason they went out that way was because there were cameras there, he continued.
Brevik claimed the influencers were dressed in their finest clothes and carrying expensive handbags as they exited the courthouse.
– It’s just really lame that they’re pretending it’s uncomfortable when the only reason they went out there was because of the cameras, he concluded.
Comment Section Exploded
The video immediately sparked reactions.
Jørgensen and Isachsen as well commented on the video on Instagram, both stating that Brevik’s claims were false.
“But you grasp what, this isn’t true. You can see the messages I have with the police, which state that this was uncomfortable. I asked if I could grab a separate route to avoid the press. I was denied. And the hand in my face is because I was genuinely blinded,” Jørgensen wrote.
Isachsen quickly chimed in to support her fellow influencer.
“Not true. None of the witnesses were allowed to use the back entrance without press, and I – and others – requested that, but were denied. Like Anniken, I have a lot of messages as proof of this,” she wrote.
– Sorry, Ladies
The following day, Brevik posted a new video on both platforms.
The tone was markedly different.
– I have to fall on my sword and offer a sincere apology, he began the video.
He then showed excerpts from private messages exchanged with Isachsen after the first video was published.
Brevik explained that the messages showed the influencers had asked to use the discreet exits but were denied.
– This was supposed to be just a little fun, and then it got a little serious. And when it’s based on an assumption that turned out to be wrong, I should be the first to apologize. Sorry, ladies, he concluded.
The comment section under this video was overwhelmingly positive, with users praising Brevik for admitting he was wrong.
“No matter who you are, it’s always excellent to be honest and be able to say sorry. Good on you, Sebastian,” read one comment.
Marius Borg Høiby, 29, has been on trial in Oslo District Court for four weeks, defending himself against allegations of abuse and domestic violence. He maintains his innocence.
Both Haukland and Høiby have provided extensive testimony in court regarding a number of incidents from their relationship, with Haukland alleging Høiby was violent, while Høiby has consistently offered a different account.
Dagbladet has been in contact with Anniken Jørgensen and Sebastian Brevik. They do not wish to comment further. Sophie Elise Isachsen and Nora Haukland’s lawyer, Heidi Reisvang, have not responded to Dagbladet’s inquiries.
