Game of Thrones stars Sophie Turner and Kit Harington have reunited for a project that’s raising eyebrows – and a few stomachs. The former co-stars are sharing the screen in the upcoming horror film, The Dreadful, but this time, their characters share a romantic connection, a significant departure from their on-screen sibling dynamic.
A passionate kiss between the actors during filming quickly went viral on social media, sparking a flurry of reactions. According to reports, after the director called “cut,” the pair playfully pretended to gag, acknowledging the strangeness of the scene after years of portraying step-siblings in the hit HBO series.
“REALLY DISGUSTING”
Turner described the experience as deeply unsettling, stating, “It was really weird to suddenly be playing opposite him as a love interest after playing siblings for so many years. The kissing scenes were particularly demanding.”
She continued, “I started reading the script and kept seeing ‘kissing, kissing, making out, kissing, making out’ scenes. And then I was like, ‘Oh my god, that’s my brother.’ But the script was so excellent that Kit was like, ‘We have to do this.’ And we just kind of got over it. We got to set, and we did the first kissing scene, and we both threw up. Seriously, it was really disgusting. It was one of the worst moments of my life. It was another really bad moment in my career.”
