Residents near Spangdahlem Air Base in Germany are voicing concerns over persistent aircraft noise, even with the redeployment of some fighter jets. A local resident of Auw an der Kyll, a village in the flight path of the base, recently shared frustrations online, stating, “Currently, the planes from Spangdahlem are annoying. Even if the fighter jets have been relocated, the large transporters are incredibly loud. They have been starting and landing day and night for weeks.” The post, made approximately a week and a half ago, suggests the issue remains unresolved, and may even be worsening.
