Speculation is running rampant. The first trailer featured the Punisher committing crimes that Spider-Man then intervened to stop. There were also details that could hint at the introduction of a new character.
In one scene, Spider-Man is rescuing a woman when the expressions of those around them suddenly change, as if they are being controlled remotely.
This has led to speculation about the debut of Mary Alice Walker, also known as Typhoid Mary, in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. She possesses the ability to control minds.
Typhoid Mary first appeared in Daredevil volume 254, published in May 1988. The character was created by Ann Nocenti and John Romita Jr.
Matt Murdock, Daredevil, previously appeared in a prior Spider-Man film and interacted with Peter Parker, making a crossover between the two universes inevitable. This makes the arrival of Typhoid Mary in Sony’s hugely successful superhero franchise seem increasingly likely.

The possibility of Typhoid Mary joining the MCU soon feels strong, as Marvel is preparing to enter its mutant phase. Mary is also a mutant.
Mary Alice Walker has three distinct personalities: Mary, Typhoid, and Bloody Mary, each with varying degrees of threat, with Bloody Mary being the most dangerous.
Mary is also a psionic with specific and deadly abilities. She can control and create fire, possesses telekinesis and telepathy, and is a skilled martial artist.
In Marvel comics, she has been both an enemy and a lover of Matt Murdock, Daredevil. She also served as Kingpin (Wilson Fisk)’s right hand, and wife.
Her connection to Spider-Man began when the web-slinger crossed paths with Kingpin. Peter Parker was frequently manipulated by Mary, who attacked him psychologically.
Typhoid, one of Mary’s personalities, has shown a flirtatious side towards Peter, making him feel uneasy and cautious around her.

Peter often feels sympathy for Mary, the most innocent of Mary Alice Walker’s three personalities, as she is frequently a victim of Typhoid and Bloody Mary’s chaos.
Rumors suggest that Typhoid Mary will debut in Spider-Man: Brand New Day and be played by Sadie Sink. However, this remains speculation among fans and has not been confirmed.
Sink has also been linked to other characters in the Spider-Man universe and the MCU, including Gwen Stacy and Jean Grey.
