Multiple roads were closed and others placed under surveillance Wednesday, February 11, 2026, as Storm Nils brought heavy rain and strong winds to parts of France. The storm, following recent weather systems Harry, Chandra and Leonardo, is expected to intensify throughout the day.

Authorities are urging caution as rising water levels and overflowing drainage systems create hazardous driving conditions. The situation highlights the ongoing challenges posed by severe weather events across the region.

Waterways Under Observation

Local authorities are closely monitoring waterways as the storm continues.
