Taiwanese actor Sun Cooper and Summer Yu-Tung officially tied the knot on February 14, 2026, with a lavish wedding celebration held at the Grand Hyatt Taipei. The couple, who registered their marriage in March 2025, hosted 40 tables for the event, reportedly spending over a million NTD on the festivities.
The wedding was a star-studded affair, drawing a large crowd from Taiwan’s entertainment industry. Guests included Tseng Kuo-cheng, Yu Mei-ren, Kang Kang, Chen Sui-yi, Li Jing, Lee Ming-chuan, Ho Chia-wen, Bai Yu, Tsai Huang-ru, Chen Qiao-en, Zhao Xiao-qiao, Lai Wei-ru, Xiong Hsin-hsin, An Nuo, and Mi Ke-bai. Notably, Sun Cooper’s former bandmates from 5566 also made an appearance, with Peng Xiao-dao serving as the wedding’s chief host. Even as Wang Ren-fu was unable to attend due to a scheduling conflict, Hsu Meng-che and Wang Shao-wei were present for the celebration. According to reports, Sun Cooper expressed his desire for the wedding to reflect Yu-Tung’s preferences, stating, “I hope everything is what Yu-Tung likes, including the visuals, the food, and the fun.”
Summer Yu-Tung also shared a glimpse of her wedding ring on social media, revealing a three-carat lab-grown diamond with an eight-heart-and-eight-arrow cut. Sun Cooper’s ring features a two-carat Asscher-cut diamond, with both rings designed with an octagonal shape symbolizing harmony and eternity.
Several prominent figures, including Hsu Nai-lin, Lan Hsin-mei, and Tang Tsung-sheng, were unable to attend due to prior commitments but sent their well wishes to the couple. The wedding comes after a long-term relationship, and the celebration marks a significant milestone for the couple as they begin their married life together.
