Tamil superstar Suriya’s upcoming film with director Venky Atluri has been titled “Vishwanath & Sons,” the production team announced Monday, March 2, 2026.
The first look poster, which was released this morning, features Suriya holding an infant and a baby bottle, hinting at a heartwarming family story. The image evokes a similar aesthetic to Sanjay Ramaswamy’s look in the film “Ghajini,” according to early reports from the director.
Mamitha Baiju also stars in the film, which is being billed as a complete family entertainer exploring themes of familial bonds and love across generations. The project marks Suriya’s 46th film.
According to reports, the film is a big-budget production, and an OTT deal is reportedly worth 85 crore. Suriya is also said to be receiving a paycheck of 50 crore for his role.
“Vishwanath & Sons” is currently slated for release in July. The announcement adds to a busy year for South Indian cinema, with several highly anticipated releases on the horizon.
