A homeowner has won a four-year legal battle with his local municipality after officials demanded he restore his house’s facade to its original condition following a repainting.
The dispute began when Gagik Markosyan painted his home, prompting the local government to request he revert the exterior back to its previous state. Markosyan refused, leading to years of legal proceedings.
“I am of course happy, but it hasn’t been worth it,” Markosyan said after the court ruled in his favor.
