Tasya Farasya is at the center of a social media controversy after revealing details about behind-the-scenes practices within the skincare “spill” content world. The beauty influencer initially shared her experiences on Threads, discussing arrangements related to the popular trend.
Following the online discussion sparked by Tasya Farasya’s Threads post, Bunga Sartika, the host of the “Halo Kaka” content series, announced her departure from the show. Social media users quickly connected Bunga’s decision to step down with the issues raised by Tasya Farasya.
Tasya shared with her followers that she had declined a collaboration with the “Halo Kaka” skincare spill series. She explained that she was offered payment to reveal her daily skincare routine.
SCROLL TO CONTINUE WITH CONTENT
“Gue pernah ditawarin dibayar buat, ‘halo kakak kakak kakak boleh spill skincare-nya kak?’ Gue tolak cetasss,” Tasya Farasya wrote in her February 2026 Threads post.
The post prompted a range of reactions online, with some users expressing disappointment that the content wasn’t as organic as they believed and raising concerns about potential partnerships with skincare brands.
Shortly after, Bunga Sartika, the host of “Halo Kaka,” issued an apology for the resulting online commotion via her TikTok account.
Bunga chose to step down as host.
Tasya Farasya Minta Maaf
Tasya Farasya subsequently released a statement offering an apology, but also noted that the narrative surrounding the situation had begun to stray from its original focus.
Aku minta maaf kalau dampak dari perkataan aku menyinggung berbagai pihak dan individu,” Tasya Farasya wrote in a post from her Threads account on Monday, March 2, 2026.
She expressed surprise at the impact of her initial comments and the resulting consequences, including the host of the “Halo Kaka” series’ decision to resign.
“Aku benar-benar jadi menyadari betapa impactful-nya ucapan aku walaupun gak ada niatan bikin situasi jadi sebesar sekarang. Aku akuin kalau cara penyampaian aku kurang bijak,” she added.
