Journalist Teodora Tompea will take over presenting the news on Observator 16:00 at Antena 1, starting Monday, March 2. The announcement was made earlier this February by Paginademedia.ro, but the presenter has only now officially confirmed the news.
“Spring brings a fresh beginning. Starting March 2nd, I’m looking forward to seeing you from Monday to Friday on Observator 16,” she said.
Until now, Olivia Păunescu had been presenting the 4 PM news, and will continue as a presenter on Observator 12:00.
“I eagerly await the opportunity to be the one to bring you the most important news each afternoon. Together, we will discover stories that deserve our voice every day. We will find out what inspires us to move forward. Due to the fact that the true strength of the news lies in the people who refuse to be defeated. Verified information, balance, responsibility, context and perspective remain the rules that guide me. I look forward to seeing you from Monday to Friday at 4:00 PM on Observator. I am happy to contribute to strengthening viewers’ trust in quality journalism at Antena 1,” Teodora Tompea stated.
Teodora Tompea has 17 years of experience in journalism. She worked at Radio Nord Est in Iași, was a reporter at Europa FM, and a journalist in the local press in Arad.
