French model Thylane Blondeau, once dubbed “the most elegant girl in the world,” is getting married. The news has captivated readers over the past week.
The 24-year-old announced her engagement to French actor Benjamin Attal via Instagram, showcasing a large diamond ring on her finger alongside a photo with Attal.

“I said yes to my best friend. Forever,” Blondeau wrote in the post’s caption.
The proposal took place in a romantic seaside setting, with Attal presenting the ring at a table surrounded by rose petals. Their pet dog also made an appearance in the photos.

The announcement quickly garnered congratulatory messages from fans and loved ones, including her mother, television presenter Veronika Loubry.
“Life has brought many storms lately. But today, seeing you engaged to an incredible future son-in-law feels like a small ray of sunshine finally breaking through the clouds,” Loubry wrote.
“Congratulations to you both, my loves! I can’t wait to start planning the wedding. Your very loving mother. Gégé would be so proud of you,” she added.
Blondeau first gained international attention in 2006 when she appeared on the cover of Vogue Enfants, the children’s fashion edition of Vogue magazine.

Benjamin Attal is an actor and DJ, and comes from a prominent French family.
The 28-year-old is the son of actress and singer Charlotte Gainsbourg and actor and director Yvan Attal. His maternal grandparents are the iconic Serge Gainsbourg and Jane Birkin.
