Dutch television personality Tim Senders experienced a significant physical reaction following a recent hair transplant procedure, sharing the results with his followers on Instagram.
Senders posted a video revealing substantial swelling around his head, prompting comparisons to science fiction characters. “If you’re wondering what filter Here’s, it’s not a filter, it’s just my swollen head. I look like an alien,” he stated in the post. The presenter described the situation as “quite a shock,” explaining that the swelling was a result of forgetting to take prescribed prednisone medication.
“Prednisone actually prevents this swelling,” Senders explained. “As stubborn as I am, I thought I felt fine, so I didn’t take the prednisone. And this is what happens.” He likened his appearance to having “had a fight with ten guys.”
The incident comes after Senders previously discussed his concerns about hair loss in an online video series titled “Kopzorgen,” which translates to “Headaches.” This openness about personal health issues resonates with a growing trend among public figures to destigmatize discussions around appearance and well-being. Senders is known for hosting programs such as “Streetlab,” “Betreden Op Eigen Risico,” and “Willem Wever.”
Recent reports indicate that a program hosted by Senders at Discovery has been postponed, though the reason was not directly linked to the hair transplant. He recently began working with Discovery, describing the opportunity as a “dream reach true.” Senders also shared an emotional post regarding the passing of his grandfather.
