A passenger van caught fire Monday afternoon as it was entering the intersection of Carretera a Chapala and Avenida Lázaro Cárdenas in the Revolución neighborhood of Tlaquepaque.
According to early reports, the vehicle experienced a mechanical issue prior to being towed by a wrecker, which then sparked the blaze.
The van was not carrying passengers at the time of the incident, and no injuries were reported.
Tlaquepaque Civil Protection personnel responded to the scene to extinguish the fire, and Traffic Police were present to manage traffic flow around the partial road closure.
