TRENDING RUMORS

The race for Sandro Tonali is heating up, with Arsenal, Manchester City, and Manchester United all reportedly vying for the Newcastle United midfielder, according to Nicolo Schira. Newcastle is expected to demand around £100 million for the Italy international, who has been a key figure since arriving from AC Milan in 2023. This pursuit comes amid reports that Manchester United are also considering a move for Tonali’s midfield partner at St James’ Park, Bruno Guimarães.

Arsenal have received a potential boost in their pursuit of RB Leipzig center-back Castello Lukeba, as Christian Falk reports that Bayern Munich are “unlikely” to create a move for the 23-year-old. Lukeba has impressed this season in the Bundesliga and, despite his contract running until 2029, is reportedly open to exploring options, potentially opening the door for a move to the Premier League. Leipzig may be willing to accept bids around £52 million this summer, despite a reported £69 million release clause.

Chelsea forward Liam Delap is a target for Newcastle United, according to talkSPORT. The 23-year-old has seen limited playing time at Stamford Bridge since joining from Ipswich Town last summer. With João Pedro performing well as the central striker under coach Liam Rosenior, Chelsea are reportedly open to offers for Delap. Newcastle’s interest in the England under-21 international is not new, as the Magpies previously attempted to sign him following his breakthrough Premier League campaign in 2025. Delap’s contract at Chelsea runs until June 2031.

– Scouts from Tottenham Hotspur have been monitoring Freiburg goalkeeper Noah Atubolu, according to the Daily Mail. The Premier League side is expected to seek a new No. 1 when the summer transfer window opens, with Guglielmo Vicario linked with a move to Internazionale. Atubolu, who has drawn comparisons to Manuel Neuer, has been a standout performer for a Freiburg side currently eighth in the Bundesliga, conceding 43 goals in 26 matches.

Liverpool are reportedly cooling on their pursuit of Alessandro Bastoni of Serie A side Inter Milan, TEAMtalk reports. Inter are said to be working on a “mega-money” contract extension for Bastoni, with additional interest from Barcelona and Chelsea. The 26-year-old is viewed by Liverpool as a potential long-term replacement for club captain Virgil van Dijk, who will turn 35 this summer.
