Speaking at the White House on Tuesday, March 24, the 79-year-ancient president, as reported by Tyla, said, “They’re going to make a deal. They did something really amazing yesterday. They gave us a gift, and the gift came today. It was a very big gift, worth a tremendous amount of money.”
While he did not specify what the gift was, he indicated it was related to oil and gas and had something to do with the Strait of Hormuz.
“I won’t tell you what the gift is, but it was a very significant reward, and they gave it to us,” Trump added.
During a press conference, he also stated the gift was so substantial it gave him confidence that he was speaking with the right people in Iran.
“That meant one thing to me,” Trump said, adding, “we’re talking to the right people.”
Trump also claimed that Iranians had agreed that “they will never have a nuclear bomb.” He further asserted that the U.S. Would soon be in control of “everything we want.”
Meanwhile, an official with Iran’s supreme military command recently stated that the country’s armed forces would not stop “until complete victory is achieved.” Iran has previously dismissed Trump’s claims of negotiations as false news.
