As the first week of a joint aerial operation between Israel and the United States against Iran concludes, preparations are underway for a second phase of the military campaign. According to two sources who spoke to Reuters on condition of anonymity, the next stage will target ballistic missile facilities located underground, as well as equipment stored within them.
The sources indicated that many of Iran’s ballistic missile sites are housed in fortified bunkers beneath the surface.
