A modern all-rounder agent, Miks, has arrived in the popular first-person shooter Valorant, offering a unique combination of utility and support capabilities. The agent, whose full name is not currently disclosed, was officially released on March 18, 2026, as part of the game’s Act 2 update.

Miks, a Croatian Radiant, utilizes sonic energy to control the battlefield and support teammates. The character’s abilities focus on both offensive and defensive plays, providing a versatile skillset for various game scenarios. This addition to Valorant’s roster signals a continued effort by Riot Games to diversify agent roles and strategic options.

The agent’s abilities include:

  • Q – Harmonize: Activates a combat stim for both the user and allies, with the effect refreshing on kills. A secondary fire option applies the stim only to the user.
  • C – Impulse: Deploys a device that emits either a concussive or healing effect, offering tactical flexibility. Players can hold up to two of these devices, allowing for combinations like dual healing or dual concussions.
  • E – Waveform: Allows players to target a location on the map and create a smoke screen at that position.
  • X – Base Quake (Ultimate): Emits a sonic blast that knocks back enemies, causes hearing loss, and slows them down.

Early impressions, as reported by GameToc, suggest Miks is a highly adaptable strategist, capable of providing buffs, crowd control, and healing – a combination rarely seen in a single agent. The release of Miks comes alongside adjustments to existing agents, with nerfs implemented for both Clovey and Yoru, potentially reshaping the game’s meta.

Miks was first teased during the 2026 Valorant Masters Santiago event, with the character’s design featuring orange and green color schemes and a focus on sound-based abilities. More details about the agent and the accompanying patch notes can be found on Vortex Gaming. The introduction of a character with such a diverse skillset is likely to encourage new strategic approaches within the competitive Valorant scene.

Further information about Miks, including lore and contract rewards, is available on Namuwiki.
