VALORANT Esports Announces 2026 VCT Season Capsule Launch
Riot Games is set to release the 2026 VCT Season Capsule on February 19th at 7 PM GMT, offering players a new way to showcase regional pride within the popular first-person shooter, VALORANT. The capsule builds on the success of Team Capsules launched in January, expanding the range of cosmetic options available to players and fans.
The 2026 Season Capsule is designed to celebrate the VCT leagues and the broader competitive season, allowing players to represent their region and home league in-game. This release underscores the growing trend of integrating esports aesthetics directly into game cosmetics, enhancing the connection between players and the professional VALORANT scene.
Included in the capsule is the VCT Sigil, an exclusive melee skin with five different variants. Four of these variants are themed around each of the VALORANT International Leagues, while a general VCT variant is likewise available. The VCT Sigil features new custom animations, and top-performing players will activate a “Champions Aura” effect.
Beyond the melee skin, the 2026 Season Capsule also features animated player cards representing each International League, designed to capture the energy of regional fandom. A new VCT Flex item, inspired by the VCT Kickoff Trophy, will also be available, providing another way for players to demonstrate their support for the VCT throughout the 2026 season.
According to Riot Games, the 2026 Season Capsule takes direct inspiration from the VCT International Leagues, aiming to evolve how VCT cosmetics reflect the scale and prestige of the leagues. From animated visuals to reactive effects, the capsule is designed to feel at home on the world’s biggest competitive stages. More details about the bundle and its pricing can be found here.
The capsule represents a shared symbol of regional pride and marks the beginning of a new competitive journey each year, as stated in the official announcement on VALORANT Esports. The release date was also confirmed by Esports Insider.
