Indonesian rider Veda Ega Pratama made history once again, securing a third-place finish at the 2026 Moto3 Brasil race at the Ayrton Senna Circuit on Sunday, March 22nd.
Starting from fourth on the grid for the Honda Team Asia, Veda Ega quickly moved into third position, trailing Joel Esteban and Valentin Perrone.
A highly competitive race saw frequent changes in position, with Veda Ega being overtaken multiple times and dropping as low as tenth place by lap 12.

The race took a dramatic turn on lap 13 when race leader David Almansa crashed under pressure from Maximo Quiles.
The incident prompted a red flag to clear the track, ending Almansa’s race prematurely.
The restart intensified the competition, and Veda Ega capitalized, climbing to seventh place by lap 19.
Quiles maintained the lead, followed closely by Adrian Fernandez in second. However, Alvaro Carpe overtook Fernandez on lap 20 to move into second position.
The final laps were filled with intense battles for position. Quiles held firm in the lead, while the fight for second place raged behind him. Marco Morelli surged into second on lap 21, pushing Carpe down to third.
Veda Ega continued his impressive climb, passing Carpe to claim third place and hold it through the finish.
Veda Ega’s podium finish marks a historic achievement for Indonesia in the 2026 Moto3 Brasil. This result is a modern personal best for Veda Ega in Moto3, building on his previous fifth-place finish at the Thailand MotoGP.
