Verstappen has been vocal about the potential for serious crashes due to the new rules, even going so far as to say he’s been preparing for the possibility in an unconventional way. “I train now with a Nintendo Switch,” he stated, according to reports. He also revealed he’s “ingrained his simulator for Mario Kart,” a sentiment echoed in other recent interviews.
