Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Vitinha is currently enjoying a successful run with his club, but his career path once took him to the Premier League with Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Vítor Machado Ferreira, known as Vitinha, was born on February 13, 2000, in Vila das Aves, Portugal. The 26-year-old midfielder currently plays for Paris Saint-Germain and the Portuguese national team. He is widely considered one of the best midfielders in the world, recognized for his exceptional ball control, relentless function rate, and playmaking abilities.

Vitinha developed through the Porto youth system, earning a promotion to the first team in 2020. Shortly after, in September 2020, he was loaned to Wolverhampton Wanderers, though he returned to his parent club the following season.

Since joining Paris Saint-Germain in 2022, Vitinha has become a key player, making 117 appearances and scoring 15 goals as of March 6, 2026. He has also represented Portugal at various youth levels, including the U17, U18, U19, and U21 teams, before earning his place in the senior national team in 2022, where he has earned 35 caps.

Recently, Vitinha helped Portugal secure a victory in the 2025 UEFA Nations League in Germany. He was also part of the Portugal U21 team that finished as runners-up in the 2021 UEFA European U21 Championship, and the U19 squad that reached the final of the 2019 UEFA European U19 Championship. This string of successes highlights his consistent performance on the international stage.
