Vivo is planning a major launch event in China on March 30th, where it will unveil the X300 Ultra and X300s smartphones, alongside the Vivo Pad6 Pro. The company is positioning the new tablet specifically as a productivity device, having previously showcased it at MWC with a keyboard accessory and stylus.

Confirmed details reveal the Pad6 Pro will feature a 13.2-inch 4K resolution “True Color” display with Dolby Vision support. Powering the device is expected to be the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor. Vivo intends to bolster the “work tool” focus with software, bundling the tablet with PC-level WPS Office and CapCut Professional Edition, making it suitable not only for content consumption but also for document editing and video creation.

Anticipated specifications also include a 144Hz panel and a 13-megapixel rear camera, alongside an 8-megapixel front-facing camera, primarily intended for video calls and casual document scanning. The increasing emphasis on tablet capabilities reflects a broader trend of devices aiming to bridge the gap between smartphones and laptops.

The battery capacity is rumored to be approximately 13,000 mAh, an increase from the predecessor’s 12,050 mAh, with charging speeds potentially reaching 80 or 90 watts. Vivo is expected to share further details in the coming days, though information regarding international availability remains unconfirmed.
