Manchester United travels to face West Ham United in this week’s Premier League action. The Red Devils’ manager is urging his team to remain focused and wary of The Hammers.

The 26th week of the English top flight features a matchup between West Ham and Manchester United. The match is scheduled for Wednesday, February 11, 2026, at London’s Olympic Stadium.

United enters West Ham’s home ground on a positive run of form, having secured victories in all four matches since Michael Carrick took the helm as interim manager.

These strong results have boosted United’s position in the league standings. Bruno Fernandes and his teammates currently sit fourth with 44 points.

In contrast to United’s success, West Ham is still struggling near the bottom of the table. The Hammers are currently 18th in the standings with 23 points, having only secured 6 wins from 25 matches.

Despite being favored on paper, Michael Carrick has cautioned his team against underestimating West Ham. “I perceive they [West Ham] are very good in transition, very dangerous,” Carrick said, as reported by The Sun.

“They have some very good attacking players. So we’ve looked at them and have a picture of what they do, as they have for us. But they are a threat and when they are good at home, they are a dangerous team and we have to deal with all of that.”

West Ham has proven to be a challenging opponent for United in recent years. Since 2023, the London club has won 4 times, drawn once, and lost only 2 times in 7 Premier League encounters against the Red Devils.
