Kelsey Grammer, 70, Welcomes Eighth Child with Wife Kayte Walsh
Actor Kelsey Grammer and his wife, Kayte Walsh, have welcomed their fourth child together, a son named Christopher.
Grammer, 70, shared the news yesterday during an appearance on the Pod Meets World podcast, stating, “Christopher’s just joined the family.” Walsh, 46, gave birth to the baby just days ago, bringing the couple’s total number of children to four: Faith, 12, Gabriel, 10, James, 8, and now Christopher.
The Frasier star also has children from previous relationships: Spencer, 41, with Doreen Alderman; Greer, 33, with Barrie Buckner; and Mason, 23, and Jude, 20, with ex-wife Camille Grammer. “It just became eight kids,” Grammer remarked. News of the pregnancy was first revealed in June while Walsh was photographed in London displaying her baby bump. This latest addition expands an already sizable and blended family, a common dynamic for many high-profile individuals.
Grammer and Walsh married in 2011. The actor has enjoyed a decades-long career in television and film, recently reprising his iconic role in the Frasier reboot on Paramount+. Further details regarding the birth have not yet been released.
Representatives for Grammer have not yet commented on the birth beyond the initial announcement.
