Янка Рупкина е в болница в тежко състояние
Народната певица Янка Рупкина is currently hospitalized and in serious condition, according to a post shared on Facebook by fellow singer Ilka Aleksandrova. The news of the 87-year-old artist’s health has prompted an outpouring of support from fans and colleagues alike.
Aleksandrova wrote, “Let’s pray for our dear sister and great Bulgarian, Yanka Rupkina, who is currently in the hospital and in serious condition. I reached her by phone last night to hear her. She could barely speak and only managed to tell me that she felt very bad all day and to contact her close ones.”
“We reacted quickly and she was taken to the hospital. The doctors said it was in time and they are doing everything they can. We are with you, dear Yanche!” Aleksandrova added.
Рупкина was also hospitalized in February 2025, but was subsequently discharged in stable condition. She is a celebrated Bulgarian folk singer, known for performing traditional songs from the Strandzha region. The Strandzha region is known for its unique and ancient folklore traditions, and Рупкина has been instrumental in preserving and promoting this cultural heritage.
