TVB’s Newcomer Yee Ka-man Goes Viral as ‘Hybrid Goddess’ in Justice Goddess
A recent star is ascending in the Hong Kong entertainment scene as newcomer Yee Ka-man captures the attention of audiences across mainland China. Appearing in the TVB legal drama Justice Goddess, Yee has sparked a social media frenzy, with viewers praising her “ethereal” presence and striking visuals.

The breakout moment occurred following the broadcast of the series’ fourth episode on mainland platforms, where a hiking scene featuring Yee’s character, Lydia (Lei Ki-lam), went viral. Netizens have been flooding social media with screenshots of the scene, captivated by her sweet smile and pure aura. The reaction has been so overwhelming that fans have dubbed her a “hybrid goddess,” claiming she possesses the combined best traits of popular stars Yoyo Chen, Xu Shumin, and Gong Jiaxin.
Some viewers have gone as far as calling her “Chen Ziyao 2.0,” noting a strong resemblance in both appearance and voice to the established TVB actress. Comments from mainland fans highlight her unique gaze, with many noting that she avoids the typical “internet celebrity” aesthetic, describing her as “spirited” and “sweet.” Her unique气质 (aura) has even led some fans to suggest she would be a perfect fit for the classic role of Huang Rong.
In Justice Goddess, Yee plays Lydia, a tutoring teacher whose fate hangs in the balance. The character’s vulnerability and charm serve as a pivotal plot point, particularly in her interactions with Gao Chengbin, played by Liu Zhuoxin. In the sixth episode, which aired on April 6, 2026, the tension peaks as Gao Chengbin develops murderous intentions toward Lydia, leaving audiences anxious about her survival.
Beyond her onscreen charm, Yee Ka-man is revealing herself to be an academic powerhouse. The 30-year-vintage actress is a graduate of the Chinese University of Hong Kong, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology in 2017 following an impressive performance in her DSE exams.
Yee’s path to TVB was not traditional. Before joining the network in 2020, she built a following as a model and YouTuber, collaborating with the creative group “Winter OT” and producing short films with artists from Macau’s “Mildly Spicy” circle. Upon entering TVB, she initially hosted children’s programming, including Think Big and Hands Up. In recent years, she became known as a “younger version” specialist, frequently cast to play the youth counterparts of the show’s lead actresses.
This latest role as Lydia marks a significant departure from her previous “quality girl” image, showcasing a more mature side of her acting range. The viral success of her performance adds a fresh dynamic to a high-profile cast that includes heavyweights such as Charmaine Sheh, Tam Yiu-man, Priscilla Wong, Chow Ka-lok, and Xu Shaoxiong.
