Yvonne Coldeweijer has initiated legal proceedings against Talpa Network over halted payments, according to reports confirmed by the Amsterdam court on Friday.
The dispute centers around Coldeweijer’s agreement to create a program for Talpa-owned NET5, which was originally slated to run through September 1, 2027. Coldeweijer, known for her popular online commentary channel “lifeofyvonne,” alleges that the collaboration was not properly terminated before Talpa ceased her monthly payments in February.
The project, which began in January, faced repeated delays. Coldeweijer resumed posting videos on Instagram in February, publicly criticizing the program’s development as a “shitshow” and suggesting its potential cancellation. Her collaboration with entertainment expert Eric de Munck also ended.
Talpa has declined to comment on the ongoing litigation. The case is scheduled to be heard on March 26th. More details are available from De Telegraaf and Nu.nl also reported on the lawsuit. Weekend Online provides additional coverage.
