Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has accused Russia of sharing intelligence with Iran, a move he claims is intended to prolong conflict in the Middle East.

Zelenskyy stated on Monday that Ukraine’s military intelligence, the HUR, has gathered further evidence of Russia continuing to provide intelligence support to the Iranian regime. He did not provide specific details regarding the nature of this support.

The Ukrainian president also indicated he had been informed by the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) regarding the matter.

Zelenskyy asserted that Russia, currently engaged in conflict with Ukraine, should not be allowed to benefit from the current geopolitical situation and the crisis in oil prices. The accusation comes as regional instability continues to rise, with the U.S. And Israel recently launching a war against Iran over three weeks ago.

He also expressed gratitude to Ukrainian forces for their precise strikes against Russian oil facilities, which he described as vital to Moscow’s war efforts.

Zelenskyy additionally warned Ukrainians that Russia may be planning a large-scale attack, based on intelligence reports.
