CSKA Races to Complete New “Bulgarska Armiya” Stadium Ahead of Next Season

CSKA is making a decisive push to finalize construction on its new home, the “Bulgarska Armiya” stadium, as the club targets a high-profile homecoming. Management is working to ensure the venue is ready by the start of the upcoming season, with the ambitious goal of hosting European tournament matches on the new pitch should the team qualify.

Construction has entered a high-intensity phase, with workers operating tirelessly to meet the tight deadline. The pitch is already showing progress, with grass taking root, and growing. Meanwhile, work on the stands is accelerating, and the installation of seating is currently underway in stages.

Several key infrastructure elements are already in place, including information boards that have been mounted in two of the stadium’s corners. Current efforts are focused on the skyboxes in Sector A, as well as the vertical planning and the development of the surrounding parking environment.

The final stage of the project will involve the interior furnishing of the facility. This includes the completion of the locker rooms, administrative offices, the media zone, and dedicated shops for the club’s supporters.

There is significant anticipation regarding a potential opening as early as July, as the club strives to welcome its first European opponent to the new grounds. Adding to the stadium’s identity, the club has also finalized the specific inscription that will be featured in Sector “V.”

The completion of “Bulgarska Armiya” marks a pivotal moment for CSKA, providing a modern stage for the team to compete and a renewed focal point for its fanbase as they look toward domestic and continental success.
