Norwegian cross-country skier Johannes Høsflot Klæbo and his fiancée, Pernille Døsvik, have sold their cabin in Skeikampen for 7.4 million Norwegian kroner (approximately $715,000 USD), according to reports. The sale comes as the couple builds a larger, more elaborate cabin in the same area.

The property, a 1,300-square-foot cabin situated on over half an acre, offers direct access to Skeikampen’s extensive network of ski trails. Real estate agent Ole Rosten of Privatmegleren told E24 that there was significant interest in the property, noting that desirable cabins are selling quickly in the current market.

“When we listed the cabin, we had a lot of interested parties beforehand. The market now is quite selective and there are many cabins for sale, but good properties tend to travel quite quickly,” Rosten said.

Klæbo and Døsvik are currently constructing a new cabin nearby that is significantly larger, spanning 3,930 square feet across two stories. Plans for the new cabin include a large gym, wine cellar, sauna with an ice bath, and six bedrooms, as previously reported by Aftenposten.

The sale took place on Saturday, March 7, 2026. Klæbo is currently competing in the World Cup in Lahti, Finland, with sprint finals scheduled for Saturday, beginning at 11:30 a.m. Local time.

This transaction highlights the continued demand for recreational properties in popular Norwegian ski destinations.
