Before finding fame on the reality competition, Kot pursued a passion for dance and even appeared in a music video with popular Polish artist Dawid Kwiatkowski and influencer Maffashion, already showcasing an impressive physique at the time.
The model’s journey to victory wasn’t without its challenges, and he openly discussed difficult experiences from his past during the show. It was on camera that he revealed a tattoo holding deep personal significance: a prayer recited by Alcoholics Anonymous.

“There was a time when things were unhealthy, when I would drown my emotions or just create a winter wonderland up my nose,” Kot shared on the show. “I thought it was fun to party on the weekend, but then before I knew it, it was Wednesday, and by Thursday I was already gearing up for Friday, and I just had to dig myself deeper and deeper, losing one job, then another, relationships, loves… years just slipped away.”

Kot also frequently speaks about his journey to sobriety on his social media platforms. In one post, he detailed the benefits of a sober lifestyle.
“What’s better about having fun sober? Basically, everything! First of all, you remember the whole evening. You remember the smiles of your loved ones, you remember the joy in their eyes when they dance to their favorite music. (…) The best thing is that these real emotions stay with you long after a memorable evening. (…) I encourage you, I’m not forcing anyone,” he wrote.
Judges were impressed with the 37-year-old from the very beginning of the competition. “You have the look. I think age suits you, if I may say so,” Katarzyna Sokołowska commented. Kot initially faced elimination during Fashion Week, but was surprisingly brought back into the competition by Michał Piróg.
