Comprehensive details about Samsung’s upcoming flagship series have emerged, revealing design elements, processors, camera systems, and an innovative AI-powered privacy display.
Ahead of the official debut, detailed designs and specifications for the entire Galaxy S26 series have surfaced online. A comprehensive leak of marketing images and technical data showcases Samsung’s new top-tier trio, including the Ultra model. The company itself has announced a presentation scheduled for February 25.
The new images, attributed to well-known insider Evan Blass, present all three models in various colors. They confirm a design that differs only subtly from the previous generation. Simultaneously, a detailed technical data sheet lists nearly every feature – from the processor to the charging speed. Little remains a secret before the official unveiling in two weeks.
Design: Evolution Rather Than Revolution
The leaked renderings show that Samsung is opting for evolutionary design updates for its 2026 flagships. The Galaxy S26 and S26+ appear largely identical to their predecessors, but feature a slightly modified camera bump. The Galaxy S26 Ultra retains its characteristic look, but introduces a redesigned camera module and a somewhat rounder frame.
The core colors of the series include black, white, sky blue, and cobalt violet. Reports as well suggest exclusive website-specific colors such as “Silver Shadow” and “Pink Gold.” The S-Pen on the S26 Ultra has been adapted to the new, rounder frame. These subtle changes create a unified look across the entire series.
Technical Specifications: Complete Specs Revealed
Beyond the visual update, the leak provides a detailed look under the hood. The Galaxy S26 Ultra is expected to be equipped with the new Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 – and globally. A strategic shift is occurring with the standard models: in Europe and other regions, the S26 and S26+ will run on Samsung’s own Exynos 2600 processor.
The Ultra model is expected to feature a 6.9-inch QHD+ Dynamic AMOLED display, up to 16 GB of RAM, and a 5,000-mAh battery with 60-watt fast charging. The camera system remains a key focus: a 200-megapixel main sensor, a 50-MP periscope telephoto lens with 5x optical zoom, a 50-MP ultrawide lens, and a 10-MP telephoto camera.
According to the leak, the standard Galaxy S26 will receive a 6.3-inch display and a 4,300-mAh battery with 25-watt charging. The Galaxy S26+ is expected to have a 6.7-inch display, a 4,900-mAh battery, and 45-watt charging. All three models will launch with 12 GB of RAM and Gorilla Armor 2 for display protection.
AI Innovations and Market Context
A much-discussed new feature of the S26 series, particularly the Ultra model, is an AI-powered “Privacy Display.” This technology functions like a built-in privacy filter, shielding the display content from side glances. It could be automatically activated in sensitive applications. This focus on Artificial Intelligence aligns with the invitation to the Unpacked event, which promises a “new phase in the AI era.”
The increasing integration of AI into smartphones presents both opportunities and challenges for data security. Consumers are increasingly aware of the need to protect their personal information on mobile devices.

The coordinated leak shortly before launch has also sparked discussion: are the iterative updates sufficient given the expected price? In Europe, the entry-level model S26 could start around 999 Euro – a noticeable increase. Nevertheless, the improved charging speeds, new chipsets, and potential AI features position the S26 series as a strong contender in the premium segment in 2026.
What Remains for the Official Presentation?
Since the design and technology are now known, Samsung’s event on February 25 will focus on the user experience. The focus will be on the practical capabilities of the new camera systems, the performance boost of the processors, and, above all, the new Galaxy AI features. Samsung must demonstrate how these software improvements create a genuine upgrade incentive.
The official presentation will confirm final prices and availability for all regions. Even though the leak already provided a detailed blueprint, Samsung could still have some software surprises in store. The industry is watching closely to see how the new models will position themselves in the increasingly competitive market.
