Czech automaker Škoda Auto is expanding the infotainment capabilities of its fully electric Enyaq and Elroq models with the addition of new entertainment features.
Both models now include access to the Air Console gaming platform, designed to help pass the time during charging stops using a smartphone as a controller. Škoda Play, a video service offering personalized news and educational content from authorized partners, has also been integrated, alongside direct Spotify integration.
These three features are bundled in the Media Streaming Package, which is available to new vehicle owners free of charge for the first three years. Both Air Console and Škoda Play are only functional when the vehicle is parked.
Škoda has also updated its Traffication app for current models. The app now provides warnings about approaching emergency vehicles, enhancing road safety.
The My Škoda app has been enhanced with an artificial intelligence-powered route planner. The updated planner now offers more detailed configuration options, such as the ability to select charging stations near a specific location, limit charging to Powerpass stations only, or set a minimum battery charge level upon arrival at the destination.
