Bulgarian singer Lyubo Kirov is gearing up for a major tour this summer to support his new album, “Futurofonia,” set to release in May. The album title, coined by Kirov himself, blends the Latin root “futuro” – meaning future or upcoming – with “phonia,” derived from the Greek word for sound. The “Futurofonia” national tour will take Kirov across 13 cities throughout Bulgaria, including two consecutive concerts at Hall 1 of the National Palace of Culture (NDK) in Sofia, according to a statement from the singer’s team. The tour kicks off June 10 in Ruse, followed by performances in Plovdiv on June 18, Dobrich on June 23, Stara Zagora on June 25, Pleven on July 3, Gabrovo on July 4, Varna on July 9, Veliko Tarnovo on July 15, Burgas on August 2, Sandanski on September 9, Pazrdjik on November 5, Haskovo on November 6 and Sofia (Hall 1 of NDK) on November 13 and 14, concluding in Blagoevgrad on November 19. Kirov’s team shared that the studio sound for 2026 is defined by a hybrid approach, combining the warmth of analog recording with new digital audio technologies. “The main goal is to create deeper, more immersive soundscapes that sound authentic yet technically perfect,” they said. Fans will have the opportunity to hear the songs from “Futurofonia” live for the first time during the national tour. The concerts promise to feature new tracks, Kirov’s biggest hits, and special stage surprises, as reported by “Telegraph.” This tour marks Kirov’s most ambitious yet, signaling a continued evolution in his musical style and a commitment to delivering innovative live experiences.
