El Rumi and Syifa Hadju are set to tie the knot in the near future, his brother Al Ghazali casually revealed.
Al Ghazali emphasized that El Rumi’s upcoming wedding will differ from his own celebration with Alyssa Daguise. El is planning the event himself, with an international theme.
El Rumi too intends to invite a large number of guests, a contrast to Al Ghazali’s more intimate wedding ceremony, which included only 300 attendees for the akad nikah.

“El is handling everything himself, with no help, and his event will be much bigger. My wedding was private, with only 300 people, but El is planning to invite over 2,000,” Al Ghazali said Sunday, February 22, 2026, in South Jakarta.
The wedding of El Rumi and Syifa Hadju will seize place in Jakarta, and Al Ghazali indicated it will be a traditional Indonesian affair.
“The wedding concept seems to be generally traditional Indonesian, with a pelaminan and customary elements,” Al Ghazali explained.
Al Ghazali did express some concern, however, as the wedding date falls close to the expected birth of his first child.
He hopes there will be sufficient time between the two events so that his wife, Alyssa, can participate in El and Syifa’s wedding.
The upcoming nuptials add to a growing trend of celebrity weddings captivating Indonesian entertainment news. The focus on event planning and family involvement highlights the cultural significance of these occasions.
