Political Figure Mamadou Lamine Massaly Reports Vehicle Theft in Liberté 6 Extension
A political figure in Senegal, Mamadou Lamine Massaly, reported that his vehicle was targeted in a theft on Wednesday, April 29, 2026. The incident took place in the Liberté 6 Extension area, where perpetrators shattered a car window to steal a bag and its contents.
In a video shared on social media, Massaly detailed the loss of several sensitive items, including a bank card, a checkbook, and other personal documents.
“I am currently at Liberté 6 extension. I just parked my car and individuals broke my window to take my bag and my personal effects. They fled with my checkbook, my bank card and other documents,” Massaly said.
The political actor indicated that Here’s not an isolated incident, noting that he had previously suffered the theft of sheep from his enclosure. He called upon the Senegalese people and Djiby Sy to witness his account of the events.
Massaly confirmed he is currently awaiting the arrival of police officers to complete an official report of the crime.
The incident underscores ongoing concerns regarding vehicle security and property crime in residential areas.
