The BAFTAs often serve as a precursor to the American Oscars, drawing Hollywood’s biggest stars to London. Among those in attendance were Leonardo DiCaprio and Cillian Murphy, alongside Gillian Anderson, Kirsten Dunst, and Emma Stone. But the event wasn’t just about the actors; Princess Kate and Prince William also made a notable appearance.
Kate’s Fashion Repeat
Princess Kate is known for her down-to-earth style, and that includes a commitment to re-wearing outfits. She proved it once again at the 2026 BAFTAs, arriving in a stunning pink Gucci gown – a look she first debuted at a Women in Finance gala in 2019.
The outfit looked just as good this time around, and she perfectly coordinated with Prince William, who wore a dark wine-colored velvet tuxedo jacket. She accessorized with a matching belt, completing a flawlessly stylish couple’s look.
Glamorous Looks on the Red Carpet – and a Czech Connection!
While the BAFTAs celebrate film and acting talent, the red carpet fashion is always a major draw. Celebrities didn’t disappoint, showcasing a range of evening gowns.
Erin Doherty, known for her role in the Netflix series *The Crown*, turned heads in a bold Louis Vuitton design featuring a striking top and voluminous skirt. Emma Stone also opted for Louis Vuitton, choosing a more classic and streamlined black gown.
Gillian Anderson looked radiant in a wine-colored Roksanda dress, while Kate Hudson stunned in a red Prada gown.
The event also highlighted Czech talent. The documentary *Pan Nikdo proti Putinovi* (Mr. Nobody vs. Putin) won an award, and producer Alžběta Karásková accepted the honor wearing a silver gown by Czech designer Lucie Kutálková of the Leeda brand.
