Carlos Alcaraz remains at the top of the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) rankings released today, February 23, 2026, with 13,550 points, holding off a challenge from Italy’s Jannik Sinner. The Spanish star cemented his position by claiming the title at the Qatar Open, defeating Arthur Fils of France in the final.
The top five players in the rankings remained unchanged, with Novak Djokovic of Serbia holding steady at number three, followed by Germany’s Alexander Zverev in fourth, and Italy’s Lorenzo Musetti at fifth. Australia’s Alex de Minaur maintained his sixth-place ranking, the highest of his career.
Taylor Fritz of the United States moved up to seventh place after reaching the quarterfinals of the Delray Beach tournament. Felix Auger-Aliassime of Canada dropped to eighth, while Ben Shelton of the U.S. Remained ninth. Kazakhstan’s Alexander Bublik rounded out the top ten.
Argentina’s Tomás Etcheverry experienced a significant jump in the rankings, climbing 18 spots to number 33, returning to the top 40 for the first time since February of last year after winning the Rio tournament.
Sebastian Korda of the United States also saw a rise, moving up 10 places to 40th after winning the Delray Beach title. Alejandro Tabilo of Chile jumped 26 positions to 42nd after reaching the semifinals in Rio.
