Geneva-based DJ Raffa Guido has been steadily gaining international recognition, but recent events in Dubai prompted concern among his online community. The artist, 26, addressed the situation following increased regional security tensions, reassuring fans via an Instagram post from Dubai Marina.

“Just a quick message to let you know that I am safe and everything is okay. Thank you so much for all your messages and support. I look forward to coming back and celebrating music and life with you all again. Notice you very soon,” Guido wrote, allaying speculation and anxieties sparked by weekend news reports.

On Saturday, retaliatory Iranian missiles struck several iconic areas of the Emirati metropolis, including the international airport, the Palm Jumeirah hotel, and the vicinity of the Burj Khalifa. These events were widely circulated on social media, prompting questions about the safety of the Swiss DJ, who is currently in the city.

Raffa Guido has quickly become a rising name in the international electronic music scene. After producing his first tracks in his bedroom in Petit-Lancy, his career took off with “Famax,” an afrohouse track that has since gone viral, amassing nearly 95 million streams on Spotify. Since then, bookings have followed across Europe, leading to performances at prestigious venues like Terra Solis in the Dubai desert. The rapid growth of artists like Guido demonstrates the increasing global reach of electronic music and the power of streaming platforms.

Despite the tense situation, Guido is expected to return to Switzerland soon. He has confirmed an upcoming performance in Geneva: a set scheduled for March 7 at the Secreto Club.
