Jürgen Klopp, the architect of Liverpool’s recent success, may be considering a swift exit from his role as director of football within the Red Bull organization. After stepping down as Liverpool manager in 2024 following a remarkable nine-year tenure, Klopp took on the position within the Red Bull football group in January 2025, tasked with overseeing sporting matters across their various clubs.
However, reports suggest Klopp may be unhappy with his influence within the organization. Specifically, he reportedly had no involvement in the appointment of new Paris FC manager Kombouaré, despite possessing a network of contacts that could have potentially led to the hiring of Marco Rose or Adi Hütter, according to L’Equipe.
