Private jet lands in Madrid overnight, no confirmation yet of Portuguese forward and family on board

Following an attack on the U.S. Embassy in Riyadh, reports indicate Cristiano Ronaldo has flown to Madrid on a private jet that landed in the Spanish capital overnight. British media outlets first reported the news. Flightradar24 tracking data shows the jet – purchased by Ronaldo in 2024 for €70 million – flew over Egypt and the Mediterranean Sea before landing at Madrid-Barajas Airport at 1:32 AM local time. There is currently no confirmation whether Ronaldo, his wife Georgina, and their five children were on board.

Ronaldo’s wife, Georgina, had previously landed in Milan for Fashion Week on the same aircraft (LX-GOL / SVW7B, Bombardier Global Express). After training with Al Nassr, where he has played for three years, Ronaldo reportedly decided to travel to Europe following a drone strike on the U.S. Embassy on the fourth day of conflict in the Middle East following the Israeli-American offensive against Iran. Ronaldo’s aircraft is capable of carrying up to 19 passengers and has long-range flight capabilities.
