MSI has announced a new promotion offering a free Steam code for the upcoming open-world action RPG, Crimson Desert, from Pearl Abyss, to customers who purchase select motherboards. The offer applies to MSI X870E and B850 motherboards.
The promotion, running from March 6th to April 6th, 2026, aims to attract PC gamers upgrading their hardware while capitalizing on the anticipation surrounding Crimson Desert. According to MSI, the featured motherboards are geared towards enthusiasts and gamers. Key features include USB4 connectivity, Wi-Fi 7 support, multi-gigabit LAN, and enhanced power delivery for modern systems.
MSI’s MAX series motherboards are also included in the bundle. Designed for performance-focused users, these boards boast an expanded 64 MB BIOS ROM and the MSI OC Engine, providing advanced options for fine-tuning and overclocking.
Crimson Desert, developed by Pearl Abyss, immerses players in the continent of Pywel, an open fantasy world featuring cities, wilderness areas, and ruins. Players take on the role of Kliff, a mercenary attempting to reunite surviving members of the Greymanes faction after an attack. The game combines a vast open world with action-oriented combat and extensive exploration.
