Chilean motorsports is poised for a breakthrough as Dream Racing Driver Development has announced an ambitious strategic plan centered around driver Anaís Orellana Ramos, with the goal of making her the first Chilean woman to compete in the F1 Academy, the all-female category of Formula 1.
Following a successful karting career on the world stage, the rising talent is now transitioning to single-seater racing. To ensure she has the resources needed to succeed, Dream Racing has put together a sponsorship package that sets a new standard in Chilean sports.
The project will support the young national driver’s transition with specialized technical support and a $100,000 USD scholarship to fund her preparation for the Formula 4 series in the United States. This investment aims to provide Orellana Ramos with a strong foundation as she climbs the racing ladder.
Dream Racing has a proven track record of developing national talent, having supported drivers like Clemente Huerta and Vicente García in their international careers through the team’s development program.
A key component of Orellana Ramos’s development will be working with Chilean driver Nico Ambiado, the 2025 Formula Regional runner-up, who will provide technical guidance and mentorship as she adapts to racing in single-seaters. Ambiado’s experience in international feeder series will be invaluable.
“Our mission is to eliminate the economic barriers that often hold back female talent in motorsports. By providing the car and mentorship from drivers like Ambiado, Anaís is in an ideal position to attract private sponsors to a project already destined for success,” said a statement from Dream Racing.
Throughout 2026, Orellana Ramos will continue to compete in national and international karting events to hone her competitive skills. She is currently participating in the Champions of the Future Academy Program, an international karting championship linked to the F1 Academy development ecosystem.
Anaís Orellana’s career is also supported by sponsors including Santander, Mobil, Goren Remolques, RAB Racing and LB Motors, who have backed the driver’s growth as she pursues international competition.
