Austrian Duo Soars to Victory After Leisurely Start
It wasn’t looking promising for the Austrian team after Jan Hörl’s initial jump. The first of six rounds saw a distance of 120 meters, leaving Austria in eighth place. Although, Tschofenig quickly turned things around, achieving the longest jump of the first attempt and propelling the duo into second position.
From there, the pair found their rhythm, delivering consistently strong jumps throughout the remaining rounds and ultimately securing the win. This victory is particularly significant as ski jumping competition heats up this season. The teams from Slovenia and Finland rounded out the podium, finishing second and third respectively.
