Denise Richards shared a series of before-and-after images of her facelift, a facial rejuvenation procedure she underwent eight months ago. The surgery was performed by Dr. Ben Talei, a renowned Beverly Hills plastic surgeon.
“The best thing I could have ever done for myself,” wrote the former partner of Charlie Sheen after seeing the results.
The 55-year-classic actress posted the photos to her Instagram account, showcasing changes in various areas of her face, neck, and mouth. In the post’s caption, she detailed each procedure she underwent: “temporal brow lift, upper blepharoplasty, corner lip lift and fat transfer.”
Specialist says the procedure focused on rejuvenation without altering features
Following the case, the doctor noted that the goal was to restore her appearance without altering her features.
“It was an incredible pleasure and honor to be trusted with her restoration and, more importantly, to preserve her essence and beauty,” he wrote. He as well specified that Richards’ eyes were “restored,” not modified, and that the tired appearance around her face was reversed.
“Even her earlobes look better from all angles. The sad or tired appearance around the eyes and mouth has been neutralized and reversed,” the surgeon added.

One day before the publication, Denise Richards spoke about her decision to undergo the ‘lifting’ in an interview with Allure. The procedure comes 30 years after her first cosmetic surgery, when she received breast implants at age 19.
“I wanted to put things back up where they were before,” explained the actress. However, she admitted that this new operation was “terrifying,” as she had previously stated she would never get a facelift. “I’m one of those people that says ‘never say never,’ but I always said I would never get a facelift because it’s my face. That’s how I make my money,” she said.
However, she explained that one of the reasons for considering the procedure was the appearance of her neck. She also recounted trying temporary alternatives before opting for surgery.
“It’s something I’ve been thinking about for two years, going back and forth,” she said. “And in the last few months before the surgery, I said, ‘I have to do it.’”
Richards’ decision to publicly share her experience adds to a growing trend of celebrities being more open about cosmetic procedures, sparking conversations about beauty standards and self-image in the entertainment industry.
