Medical Vehicles May Be Banned From High-Risk Areas Without Electronic Warfare Systems – Syniehubov
Russian forces continue to target ambulances in the Kharkiv region. The Defense Council plans to consider a decision to prohibit medical personnel from traveling to high-risk areas without electronic warfare (RWE) systems, Kharkiv Regional Governor Oleh Syniehubov said.
“Some ambulances are already equipped with RWE, but there are still drones using fiber optics. People are still in danger. It’s incredibly difficult here and depends on the specific settlement – either a person will be able to reach at least an outpatient clinic and receive first aid, or they will require to be evacuated. Of course, we are in favor of people evacuating from such settlements,” Syniehubov said.
